As an attorney, Susan Diamondstone practices law to help people: at home, at work, and in their everyday lives. The family law practice at the Diamondstone Law Firm includes all aspects of divorce, including child custody and child support, spousal support, and the division of community property and debt.   Susan Diamondstone has experience with complex property issues, business and professional practice valuation, rights of reimbursement, QDROs and Federal Government Retirement Rights Division Court Orders.  Susan Diamondstone can  also help you in drafting or reviewing premarital agreements and marital settlement agreements.   She has experience with sensitive issues of child abuse and spousal abuse.  While always looking for creative solutions to help her clients reach negotiated win-win solution in divorce, custody and support issues, Susan Diamondstone recognizes that in some cases a client needs to ask the Court to step in and make appropriate orders. When necessary she can and will take her client's case to trial.

This approach is reflected in the firm's employment law practice as well. She has represented clients in Race Discrimination, and Racial Harassment cases, as well as Sex Discrimination, and Sexual Harassment cases.  She has handled cases involving religious discrimination, accommodation of religious belief in the workplace, age discrimination, disability discrimination, and accommodation of people with disabilities in the workplace. She also has experience with CalOSHA Retaliation cases and other Whistleblower cases. In these hard times, she is also helping people who want to start their own small consulting businesses so they can go into the workplace as Independent Contractors or Short Term Project Hires.

This firm serves all of the communities of San Mateo County, including Redwood City, Atherton, Menlo Park, San Carlos, Belmont, San Mateo and the other communities of San Mateo County.  She also serves all of the communities of Santa Clara County, including Palo Alto, Portola Valley, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, San Jose and Campbell.
